The program of 29th Oulu Music Festival offered two new openings; Game Music and a series of concerts combining culinary experiences and music in a variety of venues from private homes to botanical garden.
In the chamber music series, there was eight concerts, including a church concert where soprano Anu Komsi performed together with Marzi Nyman. The rhythm music program included singer Aili Ikonen performing together with Jukka Perko Avara band, Iiro Rantala Super Trio and Ricky-Tick Big Band & Julkinen Sana.
Festivaalin ohjelmaan kuului myös monimuotoista rytmimusiikkia muun muassa laulajatar Aili Ikosen ja Jukka Perko Avaran sekä Iiro Rantala Super Trion toimesta. Päätösviikonloppuna yleisön villitsi uutta musiikkia hiljattain julkaissut Ricky-Tick Big Band & Julkinen Sana.
